In April 2020, at the start of the pandemic, Rock Content’s People team decided to create a reliable channel of information for employees about Covid-19 and provide support during social isolation.
The project had two fronts:
- Interactive microsite: a centralized source of reliable information about Covid-19.
- Social media post series: wellness content and true-or-false posts to combat misinformation.
For the microsite, I was responsible for the design and page logic, working with illustrations by Rafael Rallo and content provided by the HR team. After receiving the copy, I created a low-fidelity mockup to organize the flow of information and define the interactive elements. Once the layout was approved, I built the microsite in Ion Interactive.
For the post series, I collaborated with the brand analyst. Our process included gathering references, defining that each post would have a main color, and creating a light and playful layout to encourage engagement. The posts included:
- Wellness tips to help employees cope with social isolation.
- True-or-false cards to identify and clarify Covid-19 misinformation.
The result was a clear, accessible, and approachable visual communication, strengthening the company’s connection with employees during a time of great uncertainty.
